Dunedin Branch Only

As we know, COVID is an ever-evolving situation and here at Trents keeping our customers and staff safe is our number one priority.

From this, we have made the decision to temporarily close our Dunedin Cash'n Carry and move to a Click and Collect service from Tuesday 1st March 2022. Customers will no longer be able to shop instore. We are doing this to manage and limit the risk of a potential COVID-19 exposure event.

For information regarding Dunedin's Click and Collect service, please read here.

25th February 2022

Along with most other New Zealand businesses, we are feeling the effects of the Omicron outbreak. We have robust plans in place to ensure we can continue to service our customers, however it is inevitable that there will be temporary disruptions to supply.

To help relieve pressure on our teams and ensure deliveries stay on track, we are adjusting some order cut-off times. If you currently have a 10pm cut-off for next day delivery, from Tuesday 1st March the cut-off time will be 8pm.

We appreciate this will involve changes to your usual processes as well as some thinking ahead. You can help us by placing orders earlier than usual, stocking up and combining orders where possible and understanding that delivery timeframes may vary over the coming weeks. As staffing challenges are evolving day-to-day, we will continue to do our best to limit disruptions where possible.

And finally, thank you for supporting our team and understanding that everyone is doing their best. We are proud to continue to support South Island businesses during these challenging times, let’s stick together!

Take care,

18th February 2022

As we are now operating under Red settings as part of the Traffic Light System, from Monday 21st February, Trents Nelson Cash’n Carry will be open from 7:30am – 3.00pm and Invercargill Cash'n Carry will be open from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This is to ensure our staff remain safe while working in bubbles, allowing time between shifts for deep cleaning to occur.

If you normally receive delivered orders from us, delivery runs are operating as normal.

As this is a developing situation, we will continue to provide updates as needed. If you have any questions please contact our Customer Service Team on 0800 555 130.

Take care and shop safely,

4th February 2022

We continue to work hard to keep our teams and our customers safe during these uncertain times. Extra safety protocols have been put in place for our teams, including split shifts creating morning and afternoon bubbles for our operations teams.

We are also completing contactless deliveries which means if it’s possible for our delivery drivers to take goods inside your business while maintaining physical distancing, they will. If physical distancing is not possible, then goods may need to be left on the doorstep in some circumstances, and this will be communicated to you at the time.

We understand that times are uncertain, that’s why we have put in place robust continuity plans to maintain supply wherever possible. There continues to be global supply chain delays which are affecting stock levels across the country. We continue to work closely with our supply partners to ensure we manage stock levels.

Take care and shop safely.

24th January 2022
