South City Foods

Two generations of the Cade family work in family-owned and operated South City Foods, which began distributing a limited range of Talley's and Anchor products, and Caroline chickens, in 1980. Following strong growth, the company now offers a full food distribution service to the entire province of Southland, from Milford Sound and Te Anau to Stewart Island.

Dunedin-based Subzero services the greater Dunedin area with deliveries of frozen and chilled food products. A brand-new company started by local man Neville Ward in conjuction with the experienced team from South City Foods, Subzero aims to offer the highest level of service and a cost-effective range.

Terrace Distributors

Another independently-owned and operated southern business, Terrace Distributors originated in Alexandra in 1969. The company's trucks, distinctively branded with scenic images of the area, distribute chilled and frozen foods throughout Central Otago and the Southern Lakes District, reaching Te Anau, the Mackenzie Country and Haast. Terrace Distributors also operates a depot in Queenstown.

North Canterbury Foods

North Canterbury Foods has been operating under current owners, Paul and Faye Johnstone for the past 7 years and are strongly focused on the North Canterbury region. Their ability to offer a one stop shop has been enhanced by their partnership with Trents Wholesale Limited in becoming a Trents Chilled and Frozen distributor. This means they now supply everything from fresh poultry, meat, seafood and baked goods to fresh and prepared vegetables and dairy products. They also offer a freight service from Christchurch for any products customers may source directly and endeavour to facilitate any special delivery requirements. All accounts are charged through Trents and if you are already a Trents customer, you need do nothing more!
